|  | Rubric Group Project So who wants to help me take on the rubric?
I will start by saying that I'm a fan of the rubric. I will also start by saying that while I'm a fan, it still needs a great deal of help to make it user-friendly and perhaps more comprehensible.
Dr. Moxley says that teacher comments are similar, so we're all finding the same things -- but our grades are way out of sync. Some find that the rubric inflates grades, others say it makes it more difficult for students to get a good grade. Since we're the ones using the darn thing, we could pool ideas together, present them, and maybe pass the info along to the powers that be.
If the rubric is here to stay, then shouldn't we work on making it better?

| | I am definitely down for working on the rubric. I, too, happen to like having something as a guide when grading paper; however, there are certainly ways we could improve on this process.
